Conversations with Men.

An open-ended and in-person therapy group for men. A supportive space for men to be able to shed restrictive concepts of what it means to be a man. By exploring and disentangling imposed notions of masculinity, we can begin to discover how you want to express yourself. This often involves learning how to accept, explore and express our full emotional range. Which is often something that men haven't been allowed to discover or have been told to suppress. This is an inclusive group which is open to all men from all diverse backgrounds; race, ethnicity, religion and sexuality.

Some themes that may be discussed include but are not exclusive to the following:

  • Exploring masculinity

  • Identifying restrictive masculinity scripts

  • Relationship with Anger

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Self-esteem, self-confidence

  • Exploring emotional range

  • Accepting and expressing emotions

  • Suicidal ideation

  • Body image

  • Stress management
